Welcome To The Home of The Spring High School Band
New Page 1

The Spring High School Band consists of over 200 student members in 3 auditioned and performing bands: Symphonic, Concert, and Varsity Band. These three performing bands are combined in the fall in order to make up the Spring High School Marching Band. The students in the program also have an opportunity to perform in one of the two Jazz Ensembles which is a new addition to the band program and has only been around for five years.

The faculty of the Spring Band is the solid foundation on which the band is built on. Each student is taught not only how to become a better musician but is also taught the importance of teamwork and individual roles as well as valuable leadership skills. Private lesson teachers also work with the students to help improve the students playing ability to help the student achieve at a higher level.

The students of the Spring Band take pride in being well-rounded individuals. This means not only are the students able to achieve in band, but they are also able to apply many concepts to what they have learned in order to achieve in other areas as well.

The Spring Band is dedicated to excellence in every aspect of performance in order to provide its audience and its performers a more enjoyable experience. This fervor for excellence has allowed the Spring High School Band to be recognized as one of the best high school band programs in the nation.

Here you can see the band's schedule, upcoming performances, fund raising events, competitions, pictures, and the latest news and whereabouts of the band. We would like to thank Shankz Miniature Golf for closing down their facility for the Spring Band and Color Guard Social on June 6th. The owner, Rob, and all of his staff were wonderful and everything was well orchestrated and most importantly the kids all had a good time. If you want something fun to do with the kids the Band Boosters highly recomment Shankz in The Woodlands: 936-273-GLOW.

Thank you again , Shankz for taking such good care of our large group.
